Ipsy's July Sneak Peek!!

July Sneak Peek:

Already it's time for the sneak peeks! Month of June has really flown by.  So I logged onto facebook and saw that that Ipsy posted on their page a sneak peek for July already so I had to make a post about it right after seeing it.

Ipsy's Sneak Peek #1

Ipsy's facebook page for the view is https://www.facebook.com/ipsy?fref=ts
or you can go to their website at http://www.ipsy.com/product/p-hig51wdit57mon4
to view it. They had posted saying "A pop of perfect color will be yours from sand to sundown." I saw a comment about this being a Pop Beauty product so i went to their page and they had shared Ipsy's post! Here is the website - http://www.popbeauty.co.uk/index.html

Ipsy's Sneak Peek #2

Ipsy said on their post "Sun or City, guard your skin from spots and wrinkles with this instant summer fave."
I found out this is from the brand Coola which I have not tried the brand yet so I would love to try this product out! I have read on the face book some people saying that it is the Mineral Face spf 20 rose Essence Tinted Moisturizer, others saying it's the face spf 30 unscented matte tint. We will see!

FOTD

FOTD

I decided to do a Face of the Day on my blog I have seen EmilyNoel83 from Youtube do it on her blog so that got me going to do it on mine!

Here is the look:

I look so pale here but lighting from the window wasn't that great :( I experiment with my makeup every time their is only a few times I use the same colors but overall I like trying out different looks, I forgot to get a picture of a close up of my eyes next I will remember! Onto the Products!

First the face products, I of course started out with moisturizing my face then I put the Fix & Perfect Pro Primer 002 from Rimmel on I really like this primer I heard about this from Kristingehm (youtube) so I saw it on sale and bought it. I would buy it when I run out love it. I then put on Rimmel's BB cream in light on it's ok it's the only BB cream I have tried out so I can't compare it to anything else right now, I have dry skin and it can stick to some patches of dry skin so this one might be better suited for oily skin.

I took Rimmel's Match Perfection 2-in-1 Concealer & Highlighter under my eyes and patted it in I have it in 125 Fair it's a nice concealer for under the eyes it does a good job highlighting but no so much for concealing. I used E.L.F's Cover Everything Concealer in 23142 light to cover some spots on my face for a cheap concealer it does what it needs to but if you have bad blemishes then you would need a better concealer.
I used Rimmel's Stay Matte pressed powder in 012 Buff Beige to powder my face. This will be a repurchase when I am close to out.
I then took E.L.F's Golden Bronzer in 83703 Golden as a all over face bronzer and took it down the neck I really like this bronzer brings a nice subtle warm glow to your face.
As a contour I used NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in 720A Sunny I love this Bronzer the perfect color to contour with for me.
And the I put my blush on the NYX Blush in PB23 Espresso that I had gotten in my June bag from IPSY, this blush is so pigmented so pretty i love it I am so happy with this blush it is the perfect summer color A must have in your collection. Last face product I used was also from my IPSY bag and that is the Highlighter from Chella in Ivory Lace I put it above my blush on the bridge of my nose and on the cupid's bow and i didn't see much going on the cheeks maybe I just need to add more I don't know I will keep trying it out. But you could tell on the cupids bow it defined it better.

I primed my eyes with E.L.F's eyelid primer in #7501 Sheer it's a dollar it does the job. On top of that i used Maybelline color tattoo in 35 Tough as Taupe all over the lid I don't use this color a lot it is a dark taupe i sometimes used this as a liner which it is great for but I wanted to use it today as my base color. To lighten it up some I used E.L.F's Mineral Eyeshadow in Enchanting it's a matte light brown.
In the crease and the brow bone I used Maybelline Color Tattoo in 70 Barely Branded as a base color, I love this color it will be a repurchase. As a shadow on top to bring some color on the lid and I used another color in the quad in my crease and outer V to darken it up and define I used Flower Beauty Shadow Play Eyeshadow Quad in EQ3 Foxy Browns. I used the pink color in this quad on the lid and the darker brownish taupe color in the crease and outer V. As a transition color I used the trio from WNW Walking on Eggshells the crease color i used that and as a brow bone highlight I used the browbone color in the trio.
For a liner for my eyes and underneath my eyes i used the WNW palette in 33767 I love Matte the dark black eyeshadow to line my eyes with. And as you can see it did an awesome job at that.
As eyeliner to tightline with I used the Avon's Kohl eye liner in plum I don't really like this liner I am just trying to use it up.
As a liner on my water line I used Avon's Ultra Luxury eye liner in U01 Black, this is a great pencil black liner for the water line I will repurchase this when I am out and I would love to get other colors.

For my lashes I used revlon's eyelash curler it fits my eyes i like it.
And to help my eyelashes a little more I used E.L.F's mascara Primer I love this I use it every time it gives me more volume and separation I love it, I am almost out I need to get me another one.
As mascara I used Rimmel's ScandaleEyes Show Off Mascara in 001 Black. Ok I have had a hate/like not love like of this mascara. At first I didn't like it, it was messy a really wet formula and the wand is weirdly shaped so I had to learn how to use it lol.

But after all that I wan't getting it all over the place and I found it does lengthen and give some volume also doesn't clump on me but I don't love it because it does not give me dramatic lashes like it lets on.
My favorite mascara is from Avon and it's the Supershock mascara now that gives you super dramatic eyelashes!!! I was just wanting to try something else out I got others to go through but I will buy the Avon's macara again in the store i have found it to be only 4.99 in the brochure it's 8.99!  Ok enough about that.

On my lips I used the lip pencil I got in my IPSY bag from Starlooks in K308 Bare I wanted to pare it with Maybelline Vivid lipstick in 870 Shocking Coral as you can see in the picture it turned it into a raspberry rose color I was very surprised! When I first put on the lipliner it turned them grey.... i was worried but then i had the idea to try a bright lipstick with it and this is the result I love this combo I am going to try it with other bright lipsticks I have.

That is my first FOTD on this blog hopefully not the last! I hope everyone has a wonderful Day thanks!!!!

June Ipsy glam Bag

June Ipsy Bag:

It is time for another Ipsy Bag, this bag does have some good products in it and one that I am not so excited about but hey not always going to be happy with what you get! For 10 dollars a month I am not complaining!  If you want to learn more about Ipsy their website is http://www.Ipsy.com my refrerral link is http://www.ipsy.com/?refer=u-h9qjxugjyps1uq0 if you want to sign up! I would've  posted this sooner but lighting has been horrible it has been raining like crazy and I like to take pictures with some natural lighting but it's still cloudy out and these are the best I could do even with my kitchen light on.

This is everything in my bag It is called "On the Wild Side". This time i didn't have to cut my bag open I was able to open it lol.

This is the Caillyn Line-Fix Gel Eyeliner in Iron it claims perfectly smooth glide lines, It also says it's Water resistant, Smudge-proof and 24 hour wearing also Safe for sensitive eyes and has a Built-in brush. It has a bunny on the back which means it is a cruelty free brand. Can be found at http://www.cailyncosmetics.com/category_s/196.htm for $21.00 .
To this moment of writing this blog it is still on my hand which I have washed 5 times it did not smudge at all looks the same from when I first put it on here!! I took also a dry paper towel to it nothing! I just went to the bathroom to get a eye makeup removing wipe and it took awhile to get it off with that but it did finally come off . I think this is a great eyeliner not a color I would have purchased first but I do like it!

This is the NYX blush in PB23 Espresso it is a cruelty free brand has the little bunny on the back. It can be found at http://www.nyxcosmetics.com/p-24-powder-blush.aspx at $5.00 .
It is a matte blush a nude pink I would say very pretty I was happy to get this blush because it was on my list of blushes from NYX i wanted to get! I also have it in Peach and Mocha I love these blushes they are a little powdery but they are powder blushes. A must have in your collection!
This is a Highlighter/crayon from Chella in Ivory Lace doesn't really say much else on it but you can find it on  http://chella.com/products/item/lace_highlighter_pencil for $18.00 . On the website it looks different so this might be a deluxe size it says 1.4 grams on the website it doesn't say how much it is. It's very Opaque and creamy i really enjoy it i have never heard of this brand before.

This is a lip pencil from Starlooks in Bare (bad lighting here) it is 2.4g that's all it says on it. Can be found at http://starlooks.com/collections/lips/products/lip-pencil for $12.00 this is full size. They claim on the site that it is long lasting and full coverage that it stays in place. I have not put it to the test yet but I am going to, but I did notice that it went on creamy and it is opaque. I have not heard of this brand before , but I am very curious to try out this product and hope that I come to love it. I am not excited about the color that was chosen for me but I do have some bright lipsticks that i would like to see the combination with.

I would also like to mention that you can see on my hand above only two swatches now I washed my hand before I put the lip pencil on and the gel liner never budged! And then I washed it for the second time as shown below the lip pencil swatch is gone now but the liner is still there!

This is from J.Cats Beauty this is Sparkling Cream Palette in SCP106 Volta 0.1oz (3g) Also says that it is cruelty free/hypoallergenic/Lead free can be found at http://jcatbeauty.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=18_59&product_id=54 for $4.49 . I am not so crazy about this one the concept of it is great and they do have some pretty colors on their website but i don't see myself wearing these colors really the quality isn't so great there's a lot of fall out and the first layer was very dry and flaky I had to dig in there a couple of times to get to the creamy texture of it so that way it could stay on my hand.

Their has been a lot of confusion on how to use this product on the Ipsy website it says that it is not intended for use on the eyes, it is a body glitter cream palette. I had that phase of life when I was a teenager in the 90's so I don't see myself wearing these I am going to try to mix them with some other cream product that I have just try to work with them a bit maybe they would stick better.

Well that is my bag for the month of June I had no extra surprise like last month's bag :( . My bag totaled to $60.49 not bad for $10.00! Overall I am happy with my bag for this month if you are wanting to sign up here is my referral link again http://www.ipsy.com/?refer=u-h9qjxugjyps1uq0 thank's keep a look out for a review coming up on a shampoo and Conditioner from Loreal!!!
